Ruth will take you through all the processes of making a needlefelted figure in this 8 lesson course. You'll be shown how to make a wire armature to support the sculpture, how to wrap the armature and how to needlefelt around it to create your own individual mouse. Ruth will discuss how to add curvy hips, chubby cheeks and a rounded bottom as well as ears and eyes and add in areas of colour. She will demonstrate how to get the figure to stay upright without a stand and also talk about ways that you can make other figures using the same principles.
This is such a popular craft just now - mainly we think because the creatures are just so cute they are hard to resist! So, Ruth would love to have your join her on this wonderful learning journey.
