Perfect for a complete beginner to drawing and art or simply someone who wants to be able to create their own designs to work from easily and without fuss, our Drawing for Design course has so many wonderful tips and skills to explore. We have put this together with Textile entuisiasts in mind (as you'd expect!) and also for those that simply love the idea of creating their own unique pieces of original design and art work, but don't belive it is within their skill set. Once our wonderful tutor, Ruth Clayton, has walked you step by step through learning the basics of doing an initial line drawing and all the great ways you can go on to develop lots and lots of designs from just one initial sketch, you'll never be short of something new to keep you interested and enthusiastic for more!! There is no specialised equipment needed, just pencils, paper, eraser and ruler and later on in the course Ruth will chat you through adding colour to your designs, so you can choose a preferred colouring medium if you wish. Photocopying is ideal to have access to, but not essential. We're sure you'll love it!
