Patchwork and quilting is such a broad subject with so many aspects to explore - once you learn the basics you'll never be short of something new to explore! Our patchwork Tutor, Janet Gledhill, has devised a wonderful set of beginners projects and larger pieces you can progress onto as your skills improve. She has used a mixture of hand and machine patchwork so that you can speed up or slow down when you choose. Janet takes you through each skill set in her video tutorials and has provided a wealth of template and information for you to work from to help you extend your skills into completed cushions, lap quilts and wall hangings. She show you how to rotary cut as this is a vital part of patchwork and quilting, but you do have the choice to use scissors at first if you would prefer.
